Hocheppan Castle and Castle Chapel opening times:

Guided tours are offered every hour between 11 am and 4 pm in German, Italian and English:

from April to August: from Thursday to Sunday

from September until November 3rd: every day except on Wednesday.

Attention: Hocheppan Castle is closed from June 17 to 26, guided tours will take place again from June 27.

Hocheppan Castle Tavern opening times:

In autumn “Törggele”-menus are available.

The menu focuses on dumplings, in keeping with the frescoes in the Romanesque chapel, which depict the so-called “dumpling eater”. Alongside different varieties of this Tyrolean dish, there are also classics such as the “Brettlmarende” (bread, cheese and cold cuts served on a wooden platter) and homemade cakes. A selection of fine Eppan wines is also available.
